In fact only your registration details are stored and used only to create your unique passwords. The application uses different parts of your registration information combined with a number to create unique encrypted passwords for you. Example: Let's say you decide to use a set of numbers starting with 1000 and you currently have 3 places on the internet where you need a password. All you do is right down a list consisting of the number followed by the place that uses the password, like this: 1000 - Bank Account 1001 - MSN Messenger 1002 - Favourite forum login Now to get the password for your MSN login you would enter 1001 as the magic number into PWGen and it will generate the correct password for you every time.
